2020
This was the first year of our gardening adventure. Right around the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic, we decided to grow our own food and be less dependent because, well, we didn’t know what was going to happen. Check out some photos as we started building our small backyard enclosed garden. It’s awesome to see now, three years later, how this space has progressed.

Our yard transformed from boring green grass to a 20×20 space surrounded by some landscaping to attract bees and butterflies. That first year we harvested tomatoes, peppers, beets, peas, beans, chard, and more.
2021
The next year, 2021, we expanded. We followed some folks on who helped us understand the benefits of no-till gardening. We laid cardboard boxes in a 33×35 area in the front yard and applied some dirt to the area.
We planted corn (which didn’t really make it, but it was fun!)
